Memory Number One

Year was 2000, I was in my little room, during the dot com boom. Not all investments were bad or became bad as I soon found out. I had been watching CNBC, since I was a little kid. Back then, I would be at my grandmothers house watching the ticker symbol. Now, I was a college student, who borrowed $1,000 from my dad and bought an IPO stock. When the stock was released into the market it went up, quickly! This was exciting and I knew it would not be my last stock trade.

Memory Number Two

Things like this just do not happen, but it did. It was 2022, somewhat still in the pandemic. I felt the need to buy a stock, since I felt the market had hit a bottom. The stock had been a value investment at the time having taken a beating. I knew people wanted to travel again as I was working at a hotel at the time. People were relentless. People wanted and needed to get out. I bought this stock early in the morning and by the time I was at home it exploded to $12,623 in profit!
